Packaging Forensics Associates Inc., a Michigan company provides consulting services and expert testimony assistance to law firms, US and International companies that assist in personal injury, transportation, packaging, loading and unloading of trailers, package labeling, fork trucks, and intellectual property cases.  Dr. Singh is President of Packaging Forensic Associates, Inc., and with PFA has provided consultation and testimony in over 400 cases including Department of Justice, Federal Aviation Administration, and leading Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Sher Paul Singh, who was Professor at the School of Packaging, Michigan State University with over 26 years of faculty service, is the principal. Associates include full time staff and consultants including other leading faculty at other packaging institutions. His responsibilities included research and teaching in the areas of packaging, transportation and logistics, innovative packaging materials and processes, machinery, robotics and sustainability. He has served as a technical and legal expert to various Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies and international organizations like the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, USPS, United Nations, World Bank, European Union and ISO addressing problems related to Packaging and Transportation. He is past Chair of Division 1, D-10 Packaging Committee at American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM). He serves on the Board of International Association of Packaging Research Institutes (IAPRI) International Safe Transit Association (1STA), and National Institute of Packaging and Handling Engineers (NIPHLE). He is a Lifetime Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) from and Fellow of ASTM and Institute of Packaging Professionals (IOPP). He was inducted into the Military Packaging Hall of Fame in 2010 previously awarded the Logistics Achievement A ward by NIPHLE and Award of Merit by ASTM for lifetime contributions in developing new packages, test standards and educational materials. He has 300 publications, technical reports and book chapters. Dr. Singh provides consultation on a contract basis to assist projects related to packaging. He was selected by NASA to review the BioPlex project (Manned Mission to Mars) for packaging issues in the advanced life support systems.
